NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Please take notice a public hearing will be held September 8th, 2020 beginning at 8:45 am in the Betty S. Williamson Meeting Hall, 3 West Third Street, Ocean Isle Beach, NC. The purpose of this hearing is to solicit public comment with regards to proposed amendments to the Town Code of Ordinances regarding: Sec. 66-45(3), 66-46(3), 66-47(2), 66-48(2), and 66-49(2) - Clubhouses.

1 All structures that meet the definition of "clubhouse" shall only be allowed to be constructed or operated in commercial zones (C-1, C-2, C-2M, and C-3). An exception to this limitation would permit planned unit developments or residential subdivisions yet to be developed within residential zones, to have a community building or clubhouse that will be open to those who purchase property within the subdivision provided that any clubhouse constructed within this proposed exception shall be located within the boundaries of the subdivision or planned unit development. For the purpose of this exception, subdivisions and planned unit developments must contain a minimum of ten contiguous acres and
