Town Park Planning & Online Survey:

The Town of Ocean Isle Beach in conjunction with McGill Associates are in the process of developing both a System-Wide Comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan as well as a Town Park Master Plan for the Town Park property located adjacent to the Museum of Coastal Carolina.  A map showing the Town Park area can be found here
(OIB Town Park Planning Map).

The System-Wide Parks and Recreation Plan will consist of the review of existing recreation programming, identification of undeveloped recreation opportunity sites, recommendations for existing park improvements, recommendations for future park sites and facilities, and help identify the cost for future improvements.

The Town Park Master Plan will consist of a plan specific for the center of the island park area.  This plan will include all site amenities, facility recommendations, phasing plan, and a projection of project costs.  McGill will also submit the Town Park Master Plan for grant money consideration to the North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF).
