9/11 Memorial Designed for Park Phase 2

HONORING THOSE WHO GAVE ALL! – The Town of Ocean Isle Beach invites you to attend the March 7th Open Forum (6pm) at 111 Causeway Drive where members of Coastal Carolina First Responders Association will share more information regarding the proposed 9/11 Memorial in Phase 2 of Town Center Park. The conceptual design includes:
• A piece of steel from the Twin Towers mounted in the center
• Stained concrete to mimic the shadow at the time the Towers were first attacked (8:46am)
• Planters representing the Pentagon, UA Flight 93, and the Twin Towers
• Areas for seated reflection
Funding for the memorial will be provided by CCFRA Donors.
