After you receive your first paper bill. There is a pin number on the bill for security purposes that is required for paperless billing. You will also need the account number, which is not available until your first paper bill is received. Please note, for security measures, account numbers used for online viewing of your account, setting up a profile for online payments, or signing up for paperless billing will not be provided over the phone. Please do not call.
I’m purchasing a home; will the water be disconnected, or will it transfer without loss of service?
Water service will not be disconnected, it will simply transfer to the new owner.
When will I receive my first bill?
Utility billing occurs every two months, on odd months. January, March, May, July, September & November
Utility Billing occurs every two months and each account is billed for a two-month period of service. Charges are calculated from the last reading date to the most current reading date.
For example, if your water meter was read on February 16th and the previous reading was taken on December 16th, water charges are calculated from the last reading date to the most current reading date (approximately a 60-day billing cycle).
Example, if your date to transfer service was on February 20th, based on the above scenario, you would receive your first bill in March.
When is my bill due?
Bills are mailed bi-monthly (January, March, May, July, September, and November) and due by the 25th of the billing month.
When does my bill become delinquent, is there a fee or penalty?
Delinquent notices are sent if the payment is not received by the day following the due date. At that time, a 10% penalty is added to the amount due.
How much is the minimum bill?
The minimum bi-monthly charge for water is $30.00 and the minimum bi-monthly charge for sewer is $40.00, for a total of $70.00 minimum charge bi-monthly.
The minimum charge includes zero gallons of consumption.
